Submission Instructions and Requirements

Submitting your best photography to the Online Photo Club is a straightforward two-step process designed for compatibility and ease of use across various platforms. The initial step involves completing the submission form provided below, which captures all the necessary metadata about your image, including your name, the category you are entering, and a brief description of the photograph’s context or inspiration. This crucial information ensures that your entry is correctly logged and attributed during the judging phase. Once you click the "Submit Via Email" button, your default email client will automatically open, pre-populated with our submission address and the subject line, along with the information you entered in the form. This method ensures that we receive the exact details you provide, minimizing transcription errors. It is essential that you do not forget the second, mandatory step: attaching your high-resolution photograph (JPG, PNG, or WebP, under 5MB) to this newly created email before you send it off. Submissions received without an attached photograph will not be considered valid entries for the contest, so double-check your attachments before clicking send.

Before initiating the submission process, please ensure you have reviewed the comprehensive rules on our dedicated Rules page, paying close attention to the technical specifications and content restrictions. We strictly enforce the file format and size limits to maintain the integrity of our gallery and voting system. If your file exceeds 5MB or is in an unaccepted format, it will be automatically rejected by our system, requiring you to resize and resubmit, which could cause you to miss the contest deadline. We strongly recommend that you label your photograph file clearly with your name and the category (e.g., JaneDoe_Wildlife_Sunset.jpg) to aid our administrative tracking. We are committed to a fair and blind judging process where possible, so while your information is necessary for attribution, the administrative team ensures the identity of the photographer is masked during the community voting period. Please submit only one photograph per form submission, even if you are submitting multiple entries for the month; this helps us manage the entries efficiently.
